"Overall a great place to stay. Nice breakfast with lots of food options. Modern and fancy hallway. Rooms are new looking albeit Ikea like in furnishing. Overall pretty stylish though. Couple of unfortunate issues for me which prevented me from giving it 5 stars: -Random large ball of someone's hair was left in my bathroom (Ewww) -The room was 27.5 degrees celsius so like a sauna. It was unclear how to reduce it and the thermostat was a bit unusual so I left the window open a while instead."

"The room and shared bathrooms were very clean, Breakfast was good and there was plenty of parking right outside the rooms. Staff was very friendly. I would stay here again and recommend it to others!"

"What an interesting stay. We loved it. We stayed in the haytower. The place was so cool. They created a wonderful lodging out of an old building that in the late 30’s housed farm animals and upstairs kept hay for the livestock. It now has all the conveniences of home with kitchen,washer dryer, dishwasher,fridge,microwave, large tv. Upstairs has 2 twins with views of a waterfall as well as the coastline on the opposite side. Roomy shower. Fun stay. We could have stayed a week or more. Did not get...

"It’s quite basic. I didn’t really see staff as it’s self check in and self check out, so I can’t comment. Breakfast is 8-10am which is late compared to other hotels/motels in Iceland (usually 7-10am)."

"Great Hotel right in the Skogafoss front yard. Get up early and you can have the falls to yourself. Excellent breakfast buffet. Clean room. Expensive restaurant (Iceland, middle of nowhere pricing). Tip: check in before going to the falls, and you won't have to pay the parking fee (get validated), since they share the same lot. Staff are nice and hardworking."
