"Room was clean and just what we needed. Staff were helpful, however when attending for breakfast I was told ‘it’s closing’ rather than just offered a seat, when breakfast was due to be open for another hour. We then also had a small bite in the lounge area the next day, and the food took nearly 40mins. We used the spa facilities, and these are always great. The room was comfy and just as we would expect. It’s the second time we have stayed, and would go back again. "

"Beautiful property with a lovely bar and restaurant. Unfortunately we didnt get chance to eat there but would love to revist again. Staff were friendly and put on a really nice breakfast spread (continental). Room was spacious, comfortable and well decorated with a nice wetroom-style bathroom. 100% would stay again!"

Chances are you'll get here early after the relatively short walk from Cricklade, so enjoy the bar and food offerings in the spacious pub building. The room was a comfortable twin with everything you need for an overnight stay, while being across the car park from the pub itself, so noise was not a problem. "My wife and I used this as a one night stop over as part of a leisure trip. We were very happy with our choice. Hotel ( which has great spa facilities ) is a mile or so from village which has a few eating and drinking options if not wanting to eat at hotel. Staff excellent . Clean. Many thanks "

"Liked the property as clean and had a lovely bath. The food was good even if they forgot to put sausages on my breakfast. Very easily sorted one i spotted them missing. Great staff and a nice atmosphere. Busy but not too crowded "
