The property was clean and tidy the breakfast was poor as with an hour to go before the end of breakfast nothing was left and tables hadnt been cleaned so had to go to weatherspoons across the way from hotel
Very nice clean hotel staff very welcoming good size room added bonus breakfast was included hotel in town centre and close to train station. Only thing i didn't like no kettle in room to make a hot drink but not a problem.
Very clean and simple room, staff were friendly and willing to help. Well worth the cost and a good location within Swindon, well within walking distance of the town centre and train station
Perfectly located hotel at edge of Swindon shopping area a few minutes walk from the train and coach station. Nicely designed room (with plug sockets next to the bed and mirror!). And breakfast included for a great price.
Staff are absolutely amazing, Even off duty staff were accommodating chatting in the lobby advising good food options.
Amazing humour chatting away. Very welcoming won't stay anywhere else if I'm ever in Swindon.
Very pleasant with a most acceptable room and friendly service. Only criticism would be some extra cleaning needed around shower cubicle and drain plug. Otherwise very good stay.

relief from london prices
Everything rated an OK with me , except the odd smell in the room.Staff were very nice , building was clean , wifi worked , and breakfast was ok.
Very basic hotel.
In room, bed, TV, chair, shelf and cold hard floor.
No tea/coffee facilities in room.
Good staff team.

The bed was comfy (personal preference) but the room had a smell that didn’t leave even though I left the window open during day 2 of my stay. I had to ask reception for an air freshener.
Good parking offered with discounted rates
Excellent stay, very friendly staff. The room was quiet. Excellent hotel location. The only disadvantage is that the window was locked. The air conditioner was working fine, but it is not an ideal for ventilation.
It was clean and efficient. No tea and coffee or table in room. Very comfortable bed. Decent shower room. Room only big enough for one person really. Good price, will stay again. Breakfast needed some eggs and tomatoes.
Very small room but really comfortable king size bed. Mostly clean, but we slid the bed along so we could make better use of the full length mirror (the placing of which wasn't really thought through) and the floor underneath was pretty grubby. Great value especially including breakfast, although would have been nice if there'd been a choice of fruit rather than just bananas. Really friendly and helpful front of house staff
Rather bare-bones accommodation as expected. Very nice bar and breakfast area, room was clean with decent compact bathroom. Let down by stained seat in room, which I didn’t want to go near. How the cleaners could let that go, I don’t know. Disappointed this cost me over one hundred pounds mid-week.

Clean, comfortable overnight stop - but no parking
The only let down to this location is the issue with parking. The hotel parking was full, the suggested nearby car park was not processing Apple Pay and there were no machines for manual payment. I had to abandon the car on the street (very few spaces as all resident bays until 11pm) and hope for the best so I arrived tired, very hot and bothered and quite grumpy.
Receptionist was so friendly however that I soon found myself smiling and on arriving in the room the ac had been set to full (we are in a heatwave) so I immediately cooled down. The shower was nice and powerful and bathroom very clean.
The room is basic but clean, comfortable and most importantly cool (did I mention the heatwave!) so I had a great nights sleep. It’s fine for one person but might feel a bit snug for 2 as the window was covered and sealed so you felt like you were in a sort of ‘pod’. There is no desk or separate working area so you have to spread out on the bed, which again, perfectly fine for one person overnight. Lots of plugs and usb points available.
The included breakfast was plentiful and good quality. There is no kettle in the room so the fact that breakfast starts from 6.30 even on a Sunday was appreciated.

Don't expect much
I made a request to have a good view from my room, however, the room was overlooking the roof of the Holiday Inn which is attached to this hotel. This made me upset.
The breakfast was plain and boring. There were hardly any good options except the basics. It was quite disappointing. I didn't even bother having any so I went into town instead to eat.
No table, only a chair in the corner was provided in the room. I had to make my bed as a desk.
The floor was not cleaned properly and there was dust and crumbs left over from previous stays.
I made this hotel as a base so I can venture out to do day trips. Don't make this hotel a place to stay for most of your trip. I recommend finding another hotel instead. But, if you are someone like me that just wanted a place to sleep for the night, then it's alright.
At least the stay was mostly quiet and having A/C was nice.
