"The property was beautiful, but I found that the amenities were lacking for guests. Only certain things were available at certain times, the staff could not provide milk for my coffee in the morning, I had to get it from the kitchen, and apparently they are not the same company. It just seemed weird. The view from the room was amazing and the included tour was very good."

"We recently stayed at Quinta de la Rosa for three nights, having started our holiday in Porto. We took the train from Porto, which is a lovely way to enjoy the Douro Valley. On arrival we were able to get a taxi from outside the station and 10 minutes later were at the Quinta. "This is a hidden gem if you want to explore the Douro Valley area around Pinhao . Staff were excellent especially made great recommendations on places to go and things to do . We opted to eat at the property and it was a great choice as the food was really good. Would rate this place as 5 star . "

I made multiple attempts trying to get to the hotel through different roads and all ended up being closed at a some point. The sun went down and it was very dark.
