"The resort itself was fantastic. The views, the pools, cleanliness, hospitality, was all wonderful. The beds on the other hand, a completely different story. The beds were beyond "firm" like sleeping on a rock perhaps, after the first night, my spouse and i resorted to sleeping on the sleeper sofa, not much better as it was not comfortable either but better than the bed itself"

"This was my 3rd stay at The Strand in the last two years and it was, as always, a lovely experience. The front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast staff were all friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to help me whenever I asked for something. My room was clean and well-stocked with towels, toilet paper, etc. and I was able to lower the thermostat to my preferred temperature. The complimentary breakfast was, in my opinion, phenomenal - eggs, bacon/sausage, biscuits, gravy, jelly…yum!!! There was one day the Internet bandwidth wasn’t the best, but I think maybe that’s dependent on the number of people attempting to use it at one time and possibly the high winds we experienced that day. I couldn’t find a luggage trolley the day I left, but that’s not the hotel’s fault. The guests I interacted with were friendly, polite, and said they were enjoying their stay, as well. I look forward to staying at The Strand again as soon as possible!"
