"The rooms were comfortable and close to the ball park which was the reason we chose this hotel. Unfortunately you need to read real close when looking for a hotel with a shuttle to the game! I was informed that the only "shuttle" they had was the city owned bus and by the schedule it didn't run after the game so a taxi was needed for the return. Also the parking for the hotel is an extra charge instead of incorporated into the room fee."

"The hotel was nice. It was quiet, check-in was simple, and the people we interacted with were pleasant and professional. We stayed several days and enjoyed being within 30 minutes of the places we wanted to visit, such as the zoo and Georgia Aquarium. We attended a Braves game one night, so the location was amazing. We were able to walk to the game with a 6-year-old. We also enjoyed all the fun, atmosphere and food of The Battery during our visit. We certainly paid a premium for the location. Unfortunately, the room itself was smaller than expected for having 2 queen beds. There also wasn't a "bathroom". The toilet is behind a sliding door, but the sink and glass-doored shower are not; leaving a lot to be desired in terms of privacy. When one person woke up in the morning, there was no hiding the sounds of "getting ready", which caused everyone else to begin waking up. If we were to repeat this trip, I would certainly consider Aloft; but I would also look more closely at other properties in the area. "

"We stayed here because it was a better price and within a 10 minute walk to the Atlanta Braves stadium. Even the parking was cheaper (5 dollars a day). We had a two queen room and there was plenty of room. They don’t have a free breakfast but if you get the $25 voucher option it washes itself out. Great food. The staff is very friendly and they don’t mind helping you get the information you need when you have a question. If you are staying for a game or business I definitely recommend staying at the renaissance next to the battery."
