"The Grand Hotel in Torquay has an excellent position when travelling without a car. The hotel is a minute away from Torquay station on one side, four minutes at the back (which means disability access to both train platforms). The beach is right across the road. The bus stops are in front of the hotel, going to the port and central town. "The entertainment at night and the dsco are really amazing and also with the spa and gym are great.i just dont like the lift because it's too small and it took so long by waiting. "A great place to stay when you are in Devon. A very clean and welcoming place. A brilliant location for anyone to stay in Paignton only 2 minutes walk to the sea front and a 3 minute walk to the town centre all on the flat. "Absolutely fabulous place to stay - we had our hire car so it did not matter that it’s a bit away from towns - great size room and really great choice of meal options - restaurant and pub style both offered - really well equipped and could’ve stay a lot longer - very quiet and lovely view over the tidal estuary - east drive to Torquay, Dartmouth, Totness and extremely beautiful part of the world - loved it - this was a 2 night stay"
