"Lovely new hotel. Bedroom with beautiful sea view and complimentary nice touches. A small table and chair by window would have been good and curtains let a lot of daylight in early morning but otherwise room was spot on. Disappointed that roof top bar wasn't open for majority of my stay and when it was open, it wasn't serving the food advertised on menu. Service in restaurant a bit slow and confusing around whether bar or table service and whether food available outside or not. Need more staff...

"Julia & Jamie were the perfect hosts. Friendly & helpful. The accommodation is really clean and well maintained. Cooked breakfast was always nice and hot with a plentiful supply of fruit, pastries and cereals available. The pool/patio area looks a lovely place to relax and the pool looks really inviting. Overall I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel."

"We were met by our first names and instantly offered a cup of tea and cake! This personal,friendly theme ran throughout our short stay and made it a really lovely experience. The rooms were large and beautifully furnished with everything you could want and shiny clean. Breakfast was well organised with a time slot so we could again benefit from the personal touch from our super hosts. Excellent, freshly cooked large portions😀. Would happily stay here again and recommend to friends and family."

"Went for one night . Really friendly staff and good location . Room was Executive Double. Nice and spacious with chairs sofa and good view . Bed was clean and tidy . Just room was a little dated and worn in places."

"Its high end with great decor and fab spa facilities. Our stay was somewhat spoiled by drunken guests and their friends in the next room making excessive noise and shouting between 12.30-2.30 am, keeping us awake, security was called twice to try and resolve and did offer us a rom change in the middle of the night which was not practical. On speaking to Harry the manager it appears this was not the only case that evening. The hotel should consider introducing a quiet policy after 12 with...

"Didn't reserve parking space as agreed. Very poor mattress which was changed but still slopy. Poor peeling wallpaper, in our room.and in main areas. No parasols besides pool area. Poor outside, neglected needs a good clean and revamp. Roast dinner on Sunday was perfect along with Happy hour!!"

"Nice, cheap clean place to stay. It's very basic but thats all we were after. If we were to stay in Torquay again, we would probably stay in the same hotel. Although be aware there are no plug sockets near the beds"

"Wasnt what we were expecting. This flat can only accommodate 4 people not 6. No fans proviede, the blinds were no good, just let the sunlight in the rooms."

"Can’t deny the cleaning standards based on my room. It is all very dated, but generally maintained. Unfortunately I stayed during a period of warm weather. There is no AC, and there was no fan in the room. I assume the window was broken, as it wouldn’t stay open. I actually used the bin as a wedge to keep the window open, but came back to my room to find a seagull practically in the room. I know the hotel can’t help what nature does obviously, but meant wedging the window open wasn’t an option!...
