"The property is awesome but the check in process is a problem. This is a self check in property and that’s the problem. I booked though Hotels. Com and got a email confirming the reservation. Not knowing what was to come. When we arrived we had been driving all day and had no idea that this was a self check in hotel. I walked into the hotel to see the information about checking in on the table and went to the truck and started to try to figure it out. Checked in on line and nothing. Had to call to get the information and room number. Parking is also very frustrating because they have only a few spots behind the hotel with extra parking behind the hotel. We tried to park there but there was construction equipment in most of the parking spots. Ober all this is a great place but make sure you check your email even if you are driving from a long way away"

"Check in was a breeze even with my service pup. We were given a ground floor room. The room was exceptional!! Clean, smelled great, nice little fridge with a small freezer section that worked wonderfully. We loved the kohler rain shower head in the shower, the tub was huge and a relaxing end to the day. The amenities for the bathroom were amazing, we loved the shampoo and body wash so much we are going to research the brand (BeeKind). We walked to dinner at Luthers rare and well done, in which we highly recommended, stopped off at Kilwins for ice cream , then to Java City News for a coffee to end the night. There were 2 chocolate chip cookies waiting on our door for us as a surprise. The bed and pillows was extremely comfortable, the entire room is well equipped. We will definitely be back. The only con that I would say is that the hotel is on the main drag in town and traffic can be a little loud, but died down and we had no issues sleeping. "

"The check-in was seamless and the hotel accommodations were good. We were able to do an early check-in as well. However the first room we were given was not suitable for us because it smelled of smoke, but I was able to get our room changed and it smelled better. Although the floor was dirty and needed mopping, we had returned after the cleaning staff was gone, so I dealt with it. Overall, the stay was good and the beds were clean. I and my husband slept well. Thanks for accommodating us."

"Staying at this historic hotel was an absolute delight. The property itself is full of charm, with beautiful preserved details. From the warm welcome we received from Emma to the wonderful breakfasts served each morning, nearly every aspect felt special. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making for the perfect getaway. The hosts clearly take great pride in maintaining the property while ensuring the guests are comfortable. The only area that could use a bit of improvement would be the cleanliness of the room. While it was not a major issue, a more thorough cleaning would have made our stay flawless. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a charming and memorable stay. "
