All the doors and locks are operated by smartphone, through their website, which is a bit daunting if you haven't used a system like this before, and can cause a little bit of battery-anxiety, but ultimately it works very well. "The Saga Hotel is a hidden gem in Oslo. It’s within walking distance to the city, yet in a lovely, quiet area. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Breakfast is wonderful. We felt safe and welcomed! It was so nice knowing we were going back to this lovely hotel after a day of sight seeing!! "

"Good location, a stone throw away from Oslo Sentral. The breakfast was sumptuous with lots of variety. It was a weekend and too many occupants in the hotel, so we were given 50 minutes for the breakfast only, otherwise I could spend two hours eating. The next day we have a early train to catch, the hotel is very considerate to prepare mini buffet breakfast from 430am for the early birds."

"We stayed in a large studio for 3 nights on the second floor. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean and accessible. Showers had good water pressure and ran hot, the bathroom was large enough to move around, had a fan, large windows, and closet space, and great L’occitaine amenities. The only minor thing would be the shower stall, it’s quite small, though common in Europe. The location is lovely, and walking around frogner is a visually stunning experience. "

"Location is fantastic. 9* The room size is small clean which is alright. Noisy external tram / train noise. Later midngt, young guys with loud music hanging around. At 3am next door room had late ngts screaming laughing. Hard to sleep."
