"The property is clean and beautiful. It has an amazing pool. We stayed during the slow season in New Orleans, so the property was quiet. The hotel advertises their swim up bar, but it was not open during our stay. They did have a walk-up bar, however. "The hotel staff were very attentive and personable. The hotel was beautiful with an eclectic touch. Our room was an oasis: the bed was so comfortable I wanted to bring it home! "This was our first visit to NOLA in 25 years and we left our originally booked hotel because of the room conditions. We were so happy to find Maison Metiere!!!! The hotel was wonderful with beautiful accommodations, incredible staff, excellent restaurant and so many unique extras. We will make this our home away from home for the next several years. "

"Originally booked this stay for myself, but work had other plans. So I called up the parentals and passed along the reservation. They were pleasantly surprised by the property (they’re total hotel snobs), and even more impressed by the phenomenal service. "The hotel is right next to the streetcar line which is very convenient. The rooms are nice and homey with a large bathroom and very comfortable beds!
