"Room was clean and breakfast was average. There was a very weird smell throughout the hotel, I don’t even know how to describe it. Had problems getting fresh towels and the simple requests made for daily room service like refilling the toilet paper and changing out the trash. The outdoor courtyard area allows for smoking which was unpleasant for us since it is also where the pool is. Elevators almost never worked making checking in and out difficult. Hotel staff were always nice and apologetic while trying to do their best. "

"I have stayed at many best westerns and have always had good experiences. This one did not reach that standard. Upon arrival they were able to check us in early which was greatly appreciated. They informed us the elevator wasn't working & we're on the second story, no big deal we can manage that. The overall condition and construction of the building was not done well. When getting to our room it was open already. The latch on the wall was missing but it did still shut and lock. There were caulking smears all over our shower in various places. I immediately noticed some long black curly hairs on the bathroom floor by the toilet and found brown straight hair & red hair strands on the shower walls. All of that stayed during our entire 6 day stay. There was also chewed gum on our bedframe between it and the mattress that was bright pink & could not have been missed during changing the bedding. The bathroom door didn't close unless you pulled up on it to get it to latch. They only cleaned our room on the second day and never again, even after leaving the door hanger requesting a room cleaning. I would have addressed these things with the front desk upon checkout but no one was there when we left. I wrote our room # on a piece of paper telling them we were checking out and dropped the room keys in a box they had. We did not try the breakfast during our stay. The pool was closed so we didn't use that either. I could share more. I would not stay here again."

"No breakfast at all the second day. Apparently staff didn't show up and no one else could do it. They had 2 treadmills in the gym. Both had badly torn belts. The sink in the kitchenette leaked all over the floor. Dirty tables in the breakfast area. On a good note, all staff was incredibly friendly."

"The price was great having gone to New Orleans at the last moment. However, when I pulled up to the property I thought I was in the wrong place I never seen a Red Roof and so raggedy. I pulled into the parking lot on the opposite side of the office and had to drive around to the correct side and there were many sketchy individuals hanging out in the parking lot. I walk in the office the customer service was decent I said sometimes things I'm looking for the way that they truly are so I gave it a chance and I went to the room. I get to the room the door is not properly maintained there was so many different raised areas around the door top and bottom there was holes in the walls the bathroom look dated and didn't look that clean. The office had the remote and I had to ask for it I was in that room all of 7 minutes and I asked for a refund and I left. Because there were two individuals beating on the door next to the room that I was in. It was just one of those situation if you want the door you were inside no security. I did not feel safe I did not feel comfortable and I was not spending a night there. I don't know if this property is for say truckers or other folks but it was not for me."

"This place definitely needs an upgrade. The carpets in the room were extremely outdated and dingy. The employee that checked me in told me one thing for a price to add my dog, and charged way more. I was never told about the $20 parking fee, but was definitely charged it on my card. The complimentary breakfast wasn't bad. "
