"Would have given 5 stars across the board but there was a scaffold right outside our window, despite requesting an ocean view. It isn't really walkable to much, but the onsite restaurant was very good and the view was amazing. There's also a quaint pub contained within the hotel, with an awesome Irish performer the night we were there."

"This is an unusual hostel in that there are private rooms with bathrooms too. It had neat boho vibes--reminded me of early 1970's when I was in college. Everyone was so friendly and kind. I had left a bag in a taxi and Sara (?, sorry I forgot already) ran and got it for me. My running days are behind me and I wouldn't have been able catch him in time. "If you can let go of the need for everything to be pristine in your hotel room, you will love this quirky, shabby, out-of-the-way place! Host is lovely, bed was super comfortable, great breakfast, and just a comfy, funky place to hang out on the Burren. "

"Loved this stay. Affordable, clean, quiet. It’s a bit far for a direct walk to downtown but there’s a bus stop right nearby, and we didn’t mind getting the extra walking in so mad the walk multiple times anyways. The campus is gorgeous, you can walk by the River and get a nice view of a castle. Campus wasn’t busy at all. Highly recommend if you’re in the area looking for somewhere affordable. I’ll probably be staying here whenever I’m in the city in the future."

"We asked for a double. It was advertised that it was 279 sq ft. The room we are in is not even close to 279 sq ft. We are being charged $400 per night for a room that is not as advertised. Lots of other issues, like a shower that will flood the bathroom if you don’t block the water with your body at all times. We only see windows from the other rooms 40’ away that look directly into ours even tho our room was advertised as having a city view. Also advertised as having an in room safe-we didn’t...

"The location was excellent, just right around the corner from the bus station and very close to the centre. To be honest, theres so many good things to say about the place. Very tidy and clean, and a really nice vibe. Free breakfaat in the morning - continental. Free tea an coffee. Kitchen had everything you need. Highly recommend and my four night stay was very good value."

"Did not get the breakfast but the room was spacious and comfortable. I appreciated the tea kettle and chocolates. The shower pressure was good. Only problem was that housekeeping was cleaning rooms very early and it woke us up early, but the front desk staff said he would let the manager know and compensated us for our trouble, which was terrific customer service. I would recommend this hotel based on quality and proximity of Latin Quarter"

"The check in counter staff are great and accommodating. The room though is nasty. Carpet stains, ceiling looks like it’s been patched 4 separate ways due to leaks, the walls are stained. I have photos to share. The place is used up. Location is good and that’s probably why people stay there. "
