"Hotel was located right off the coast road about 20 minutes away from Galway. Room was clean and comfortable. Only negative was the 9 steps to navigate with suitcases. The staff were friendly and helpful. Apparently this is a popular hotel weddings. Had a nice dinner at the onsite restaurant/bar and then got to watch a beautiful sunset over the water. Breakfast was included and had the usual fare with something for everyone."

"the room smelled sweat so was moved to another corner room. The room was in chilly side as main bedroom radiator didnt work the car parking is ridiculous - cant get out Pool is nice compulsory swimming caps outdated no soap showers either €5 a night to park if use external booking partners no idea why so I didnt dine in hotel at all ! "What a lovely guesthouse! It is spotlessly clean and quiet, and Patricia is a welcoming and gracious host. She prepares wonderful breakfasts each day. I highly recommend Mountain View if you want a Galway-area stay, a bit outside the city."

"Our favorite hotel stay in Ireland! Friendly helpful staff! Comfy bed and pillows! Our room was decorated so quaint and it was clean and cozy. Loved the robes provided for shower. It was a couple days before my daughter’s birthday and they left her a birthday note with fine chocolates. Would definitely stay here again!!!!! Great hotel! "
