"The Mondrian Bordeaux Les Carmes is a beautiful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel common areas and rooms are beautifully and comfortably decorated. It’s a peaceful oasis amidst a busy city. We very much enjoyed the outdoor terrace and the spa. The hotel is located in the Chartrons neighborhood on the North side of Bordeaux. "It is a little far from the city center, but you can walk to the excellent wine museum. The hotel is clean and nice, but we were surprised that there was no refrigerator in the room, especially since it can be warm during the day. It may not be suitable for guests who like to have cold water available, like at home."

"Hotel itself was lovely, modern and clean. The staff were lovely and helpful. The room , booked for a family of 4 was very cramped and not really accommodating for 4. A family of 3 yes, but way too small for 4. We had a double bed, single sofa bed and mattress on the floor all in a standard double room. Room wasn’t very modern in comparison to the hotel. Separate toilet from bathroom which is always great. However, not really a comfortable stay for 4 , very cramped and uncomfortable. "
