I thought it was located in a remote part of the city, but once you get to know the city, it's close to 91 Bus and Charles Street trolley. One of America's best bakeries is located only a few steps away from the location. Other than that, I dont know what to say after staying here for 2 days."

Hotel has two bars--one on main floor that offers live music and food; The other on top floor that offers food, drinks, and panoramic city views. Hotel is close to WWII Museum and other attractions. Trolley stop just outside hotel entrance. Negative: Room key made of heavy metal. Heavy to carry around unless you leave it at...

"Great location if you're going to the Riverwalk, but be aware it's noisy. We were on the 5th floor and heard airplanes, fog horns, and the elevator all night both nights. As I have discovered now at all Hilton Garden Inns, the beds are hard and crazy uncomfortable. The hallway on our floor and the elevator consistently smelled of marijuana. Also the only hotel parking is valet at $50 a night...we parked in a garage up the street for $30 per night. In the future I'll spend a little more money for...

"The Fairchild House is very charming, and all in all, is a nice place to stay, with reasonable rates. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was plentiful and good. Shrimp and grits on the weekend was so good, my husband became a convert. My biggest complaint is the tiny shower stall which needs something to make the shower floor non-slip. The bed was comfy, but the pillows were almost useless. The place was clean enough, with minor exceptions."
