" I didn't realise when I booked the hotel was on the motorway services. However we were able to use the service road to access in and out of the services without going on the M25. Room was clean everything you needed. The lady on reception was so helpful told us where to find local places to eat and even gave me the fan from reception for my room as it was so hot. It's not a luxury hotel but the service was fantastic and the room comfortable would definitely book again."

"Ideally situated for an overnight stay if walking the South Downs Way. Excellent Sunday lunch - we could understand why it was popular! The Landlord was very helpful in providing the best route to re join the South Downs Way the following morning. Unfortunately the nearby cafes were not open for breakfast on Monday - The Green Welly doesn't open and The Nutmeg doesn't open on Bank holidays! We resorted to buying two baguettes from The White Lion and having them for breakfast and lunch!"

"My husband and I enjoyed everything about our stay at Ashdown Park Hotel. The team are super friendly, our room was lovely and very clean and luxurious. The grounds are well kept and a pleasure to stroll around. There are good fitness facilities, however we were there for a romantic trip. We had a lovely evening meal, but feel that there could have been more choice. The breakfast was delicious and well made. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay special. "

"A Perfect Short Stay! We stayed for just one night after a long day of travelling home from our holiday and didn’t arrive until around 00:30. Despite the late hour, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming at check-in, which was such a relief. We were pleasantly surprised when we got to our room—it was spotless, with a thoughtfully designed shower room, a comfortable bed, TV, and several homely touches that made us feel instantly at ease. "My stay was okay for a 1 night stop over. Didn't realize the distance from Heathrow, making the taxi very costly. Staff members was helpful in allowing me to use their charger to charge my phone because the plug in the room was loose until I purchased a charger. "

"Lovely hotel with extremely helpful staff. The room was large with lovely bathroom and was very clean. We ate two nights in the HarBar and enjoyed both meals. Staff in the restaurant were very helpful making sure our allergies were attended to. Several staff asked us if we needed help with anything. Great hotel and staff."
