Our room was very clean tho we only slept in it . Everything is walkable to get to and the beach is spectacular. All staff were friendly and helpful tho there is a language barrier with some but they are quick to find someone to translate. Food for everyone with a main buffet and another at the snack bar. Breakfast is pretty much the same everyday choice of eggs or omelet different meats potatoes cereal yogurt etc definitelywont go hungry..suppers change daily. Have a la cartes if you so desire with an option to buy lobster dinner on the beach. We stayed for 8 days and didnt want to leave. Now bare in mind it is an older resort with dated rooms but the beds are top notch. We did experience 2 mornings with a hot water issue but was quickly fixed. We dont go to hang out in our room so we were fine with it. The grounds are kept meticulous with constant cleaning and for a smoking resort you dont see any butts or garbage. Now for the cons..just 1. They dont have enough loungers or umbrellas for the capacity they have so everyone goes down early and reserves them so if you want one by the pool or beach you need to go down by 530 am or you wont have one. Rooms have pop and water if you leave a couple pesos in the fridge with a note they will stock you with beer. I have stayed at higher end resorts and found the service at this resort far surpassed them
The premium rooms come with a butler and a separate restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Will definitely return!!
