"If I could give this hotel 10, I would. When I was doing my research on where to stay in Holbox, I didn’t want be near the action or noise of el centro. I really did want that ‘eco-hotel’ vibe. Casa Noma was absolutely exceptional!!! I didn’t know at the time but my husband called in advance to tell them it was my birthday and they had a nice bottle of bubbles with some snacks and a happy birthday sign arranged in the room. Very sweet and a lovely surprise! Breakfast is included in the price....

"Casa Mar was absolutely beautiful. My wife and I celebrated our 20 year anniversary with a week away and we would definitely do it again. An added perk we didn’t even realize until arriving was that this house is associated with the Awa hotel brand and you get all the perks of the hotel that is within a 5 minute walk. We loved everything about the experience. Manuel and Maria took great care of us as well!"

"I loved my 4-night solo stay here and whenever I revisit Holbox, I would certainly book here again. The location was absolutely ideal. I got everywhere I wanted (beach, restaurants, shopping, massages, cart/bike rentals, tours) very quickly and by foot, no problem. It was always quiet, beautifully maintained, and peaceful. "The breakfast was really good but we missed half of them because they wouldn't pack a to-go breakfast when we were leaving early. Other hotels will do that. The workers at breakfast were very nice, however. Also, the room was nice and the air conditioning cold, the mattress was amazing, but there was not a single table or any chairs in the room. We had to play cards on the bed. The towels were nice and big, especially the beach towels. I would not use the pool as there were multiple raccoons...

"We spent 7 nights and for the price it’s a good place. Pros were the staff, cleanliness and the beach club was great. Cons were the beach was not great (much better beaches east of town), pools were kinda dirty because there were a lot of kids while we were there. During the day we visited other beach clubs that were more adult oriented to escape the screaming kids. We learned a lot on our first trip and will definitely spend a little more to have a better area and some nicer amenities"
