"Chambre propre et confortable. Personnels de réception agréable. Navette pour aéroport facile. Seul hic le restaurant, service nul, bouffe moyenne, déjeuner nul, personnels aucun sourire, ne semble pas avoir 3nvie de travailler. Au déjeuner, plus d’œufs brouillés et 3 employés regarde la salle, plus de lait, plus de café mais fut demandé personne ne va voir s’il manque de choses. Buffet qu’un très petit grill ou tout monde réchauffe fromage mini crêpe etc… pour le prix des chambres la salle à...

"I had a spacious room in good decorative condition with a direct view of Copacàbana beach. Strangely given the room size, wardrobe space was limited.The bathroom was also large and included an excellent shower. The breakfast buffet was superb. The roof top bar and pool was a welcome feature. The hotel sits at the southern end of Copacabana, so Ipanema is also within easy reach. Finally all the staff from the managers to the cleaners were welcoming and efficient. A difficult property to fault."

"Originally placed in an unrenovated room that was quite dingy and in need of serious love, looks like it hadn’t been touched since the 80s. Paid to upgrade into a renovated room which was much nicer. But with the upgrade fee, the value was not as attractive. Overall the renovated public areas are nice, especially the rooftop, but it’s a very large hotel and can get crowded (for example, long lines to check in and check out, with not many front desk staff even during peak hours). "
