"Great stay close to the ferry pier. The dining/breakfast area had a great view and wonderfully cool breezes. Hot water was a bit on and off and a minor gripe... the a/c and fan were great but it would be nice to have something slightly thicker than a sheet to sleep under ... or an extra blanket. Otherwise a very enjoyable hotel!"

"Warm greetings from the reception and owner. Rooms cleaned and refreashed every day. Has a fridge with cold beer for 100 pesos. Excellent. We ate at the restaurant every night as the food was great and breakfast plentiful and assortments. Staff was all were very friendly. The owers are always near by and make you feel welcome. "The Mangrove is an amazing place to stay and relax at. They have several cottages on their own private beach, and if you get sunburn from swimming all day they grow aloe vera on the premise that you can pluck. In addition, the air-condition in the room was cold and there was a clothesline outside my room so that I could dry my wet clothes. Management and the staff are very friendly, and the Mangrove has the best fruit shakes I've had in the Philippines. I will definitely be coming back. "

"It's not far because we had such a great time we didn't spend much time in the motel. But comfortable huts, Good Aircon, Lots of mosquitoes but that is a chronic problem on the Island. Nice place all round. Great People"
