"What a beautiful property! There was always enough shade in and around the pools, and excellent bird watching within the hotel grounds. The location was excellent, with the beaches, national park, and town/restaurants within easy walking distance, but it was nice and peaceful at the hotel itself. "From the moment i arrived at the property i felt a peaceful energy. the aesthetic of the hotel was my favorite, the beach was beautiful, loved the room. I was solo traveling, but didn’t feel alone at all. Staff made me feel at home. They truly outdid themselves very attentive and willing to help in anything you need! Ketzy at the reception so kind and helpful going out of her way! I recommend getting a massage by Michelle she was amazing worth every penny. At the bar and grill food was delicious and drinks. Brixie so sweet and attentive took great care of me and all the waitresses . I loved my stay there it was everything I needed I 100% recommend this hotel. And I would totally come back! It fits the puerto viejo pura vida vibe! Thank you hotel banana azul for an amazing time!"

"The gore is a beautiful oasis on an unsuspecting street. Our room was beautiful, clean and cozy (but not too small)! The staff make you feel welcome and the breakfast was delicious. The location is perfect, a short walk to the main shops and restaurants. There’s nothing more I could have asked for!"

"We stayed at this property for four nights and had an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautiful landscaping, colorful flowers, and butterflies surrounding the property. Our room was spotless, smelled wonderful, and was cleaned daily. The staff were always kind, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was delicious, and we also loved having an on-site restaurant for dinner. Traveling with children, this convenience made a huge difference, and the food was absolutely excellent. The property is easy to access, feels very safe, and everything was impeccably maintained. We truly enjoyed the warm, family-like atmosphere and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Costa Rica. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip!"
