Staff are friendly, rooms are a good size, good location property doesn’t make sence ,food was mediocre, ala cart no thank you , no night entertainment, vendors all.over the pool area wasn't very relaxing when the came ever minute from early morning to night !
If you are looking for a budget hotel and eat out most nights or enjoying the PV night life good place to sleep .
This property was good , however there was a new building being constructed which was very noisy. The bars did not open until 11am and closed early with only one remaining open until midnight. The staff were very friendly. The room was clean , however the cleaners would take the bathmat and hand towel and not replace them. You also had to ask for a facecloth . Overall it was a good trip. The beach was wonderful and the pools were nice.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Amenities
We had a mountain view, which was really a view of the street and neighborhoods on the back side of the resort, we asked for an upgrade but were unable to make a switch. We found the restaurant explanations misleading and the days and times of operation were not consistent with the signage. The food was okay, and had the same options over and over. We were also there during the shut down and received no communication from the resort and when we asked questions received no information. The resort was clean and the staff were friendly.

Ocean was visible and it was beautiful. The view was unmatched as we had full perspective of the ocean and sunset every night. Construction next door as a new building is being built. Also other construction happening on the other side of property, the finishings of a condo. Upsetting we paid them out that we did with the construction, but being that Mexico is always being renovated. It wasn’t a surprise, and the noise was easy to drown out with the atmosphere of ocean and party. Room was always clean however sometimes our room was cleaned later in the day, but staff were always nice and cleaned very quickly if we wanted to be in the room.
When we got into our room the safe was not working & the bathroom sink was plugged. But a call to maintenance & the guy fixed it up right away. Sadly, I feel that should be done before guests arrive. We also did not have face cloths or a hand towel during the stay. Although the food was good, it was the same the whole stay. Staff always friendly.
It was a good place for the price. Don’t expect a 5 star property, food was sometimes good sometimes mid. Marcos the beach server was the best, great drinks he made and good English. Most staff were good, lacking in English a little bit but gave us a chance to learn some lol. Construction around the property is still happening. Which didn’t make or break it for us but if you are picky about ocean sound don’t go. Their day off for construction is Sunday if that helps. You can’t hear it in your room just on the beach. Get your beach or pool chairs early, Friday, Saturday and Sunday are busy days of the beach and hotel. Buffet was okay nothing to write home about. Over all good but you do get what you pay for. It’s cheap. So you know.
Visited here 7 years ago, hotel was lovely, food not so great but not an issue. Have just arrived back from another stay and it is dire to say the least. It looks absolutely nothing like it does in the pictures. Only one pool open, the other has been reduced in size and was closed, the food terrible and the whole place was a building site and won't be finished until Sept 2027. The only plus is that the staff are fantastic. Unfortunately we won't be visiting again.
This was our second time staying here. Staff are very professional and attentive. Food was very good however the same menu at the hotel restaurant as was at the buffet. If you are looking for something different, a short walk across the highway and half block to left is an excellent Outback Steak House. Beach was wonderful. Only two issues that were not great was the construction on the new building next to the main pool which was closed for safety reasons, and there was a sewer back up onto the walkway towards the family pool and hotel. You either walked through it - yuck - or went through hotel lobby onto beach and back onto the pool. They were working on the sewer problem but was an inconvenience. If you forgot anything, there was a convenience store just outside the resort and a 15 min walk and across from the marina was the Walmart. I would have given a higher review if it wasn't for the sewer problem and the one pool being closed due to the construction.
The hotel is very run down, but has a rustic charm I guess. We had to share a balcony with another room which is totally weird. We also could hear the people in the room next door snore and blow dry their hair. Our room was completely bare except for one tv hung on the wall with wires hanging out of it. It only had one English Channel. There were no drawers for our clothes. The service was very slow. No one serves you . You had to wait in line for water and drinks. The food was ok. But even if you got a table and got your food- you had no drink- not even water or coffee. We ended up leaving the resort and the town is cute and the restaurants are yummy. There is a liquor store near by. Everyone was nice, but I will never do all inclusive again… what’s the point.
