"Great stay in a lovely hotel. The owner was charming, friendly and fun and gave an excellent display of first class customer service. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We left too early for breakfast so they made up packed breakfasts for us too. Some of the alcoholic drinks in the mini bar are free too! Bed was comfortable and the facilities were clean, tidy, modern and well kept. Parking right outside too."

"My partner and I stayed for two nights in June, booked through Hotels.com. Crescent Place is beautifully designed throughout—modern, calm and thoughtfully put together. We were in Apartment 7, a cosy, stylish and luxurious space. Pros Apartment 7 feels warm and inviting with a layout that makes it easy to unwind. The superking bed was extremely comfortable; even at eight months pregnant I slept well without my pregnancy pillow. The bathroom is huge, bright and finished to a high standard, though the rainfall shower head needs adjusting as it sprays from the top. The fridge with complimentary water and milk was a thoughtful touch. Cons The main issue is noise. Apartment 7 sits directly above Parlar, a café/bar open until midnight with live music on Fridays. It was loud enough that we couldn’t sleep until it ended. The hotel offered Apartment 1, but due to mobility needs we stayed in 7. The bar owner was apologetic and offered complimentary pastries. Guests should be told in advance that music can be heard from around 8pm until close. The front door code briefly stopped working but was quickly reset. The AC unit made an intermittent buzzing even when switched off. The booking process felt convoluted between Hotels.com, the Mansley app and multiple emails, and receiving access details only on the morning of arrival added stress. Overall, Apartment 7 is a beautiful space and despite the issues we would absolutely stay again."

"Very pleased with my stay. The room was spacious and had everything I required and more, including fridge and microwave. Bed was comfortable and the room and the ensuite bathroom were extremely clean. I was at the front of the hotel and had a pleasant view from the window. The location was perfect for me and it was an easy stroll into the centre of Cheltenham. There is no reception as such but i liked the simplicity of using the codes i was given for entry. However, if you had an issue it was easy enough to contact the manager. I stayed for two nights and next time I visit Cheltenham I will definitely stay at Kingsmuir again. The location and value for money were the main plus points. If you are looking for clean and comfortable accommodation and don’t require traditional hotel services then I thoroughly recommend."

"Queens is a lovely hotel, we used to stay at 131 but got fed up with the noise from below. Old school traditional hotel ideal location for town. As far as we are concerned it ticks all the boxes. We didn’t get the opportunity to eat there but I’m sure we will on our next visit. Joe on reception was very informative and friendly."

"I originally booked my stay at the Rising Sun Inn because I was in the area to see Van Morrison. What I didn't expect was how much I'd enjoy everything else the hotel has to offer. The inn was comfortable, welcoming, and a great base for exploring the beautiful countryside. One of the highlights of my trip turned out to be the wonderful hiking opportunities right around the hotel. The trails and scenery were a pleasant surprise and gave me a chance to slow down and enjoy the area beyond the concert itself. And the pub and beer garden overlooking the Cotswolds were relaxing. If you're a music fan coming for a show, or simply someone who enjoys walking and exploring nature, I can highly recommend the Rising Sun Inn. I arrived for Van Morrison, but I stayed for the hiking and the friendly staff of this family-run hotel. p.s. thanks for the late check-in after the concert. Sorry to make you come over from the house to the hotel."

"I was in Cheltenham for a festival, so what mattered to me was a centrally-located hotel with car parking, decent bed & bathroom. All of which they have...along with friendly and helpful staff (always a bonus). The hotel was clean and quiet and provided a decent basic breakfast. One point: car parking is limited, and would be challenging for anyone trying to put one of the big 4x4s so popular nowadays into one of the spaces."
