Beautiful historic architecture in wooded setting, well maintained, accent lighting, beautifully furnished and stylishly decorated. We loved dinner and breakfast in the atrium. Food and service were impeccable. Relaxing bar area, easy parking. Easy in and out. Rooms were also beautiful. Comfortable. Richard gave us a warm greeting and service along with all waitstaff. Highly recommended. Great value! "

"We arrived here around 3.00 am following a later flight into Edinburgh. Checking in was straight forward. Room was everything we needed for an overnight stay with a very comfortable bed. Appreciated the big bathroom and roomy shower. We asked if we could check out at noon instead of 11.00 am in view of the fact we would have had so little sleep and they said we could which helped us immensely as we had a long drive home that day."
