"We had a wonderful stay for one night in the Quidi Vidi room. Then we came back at the end of our trip for four nights and stayed in Port Royal room, and this one was much bigger with bigger bathroom. Both rooms were on the first floor. The manor was very clean and quiet. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of yogurt, muffins, cereal, as well as eggs freshly made with toasts and bacon or sausage. Juice, coffee, tea and milk. "Wistful location and a beautiful room. Very large with a nice sitting area, decorated with a spa like touch. Very comfy bed, waffle towels and bathrobe. Local toiletries to make you feel connected to the area. Conveniently located across the street from one of the best restaurants in St John’s the Mallard Cottage. An authentic experience all around with a luxury touch!"

"The staff were friendly and helpful. The property was clean and well maintained. I wasn’t expecting a kitchen in the room, but it proved to be very convenient. The only thing that I was disappointed in, was there wasn’t a charging station for my EV Hybrid vehicle."

"Had to ask for housekeeping to clean the room. The pool area was never monitored, as small kids vomited in the hot tub. As well the hot tub jets were out of service on 2 different occasions. Service at the restaurant was not the greatest. For the most part, my week went well, but this was a lot of issues for a 5 night stay."

"The hotel is new, clean, and provides convenient parking access. While some room amenities required maintenance during our stay, the staff addressed the issue promptly by providing replacements. However, the breakfast selection was limited and fell short of the standard typically expected from a Marriott-branded property. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay with responsive customer service."

"The facility is rustic, has no elevator, and all rooms are on the 2nd floor so without staff helping take luggage to the room it would have been a challenge. This was evident upon checkout as there were no staff to help bring luggage down the stairs. The room and bathroom were clean, but the closet had a sign saying “Do not use due to water leak”. We did have a lovely meal in the attached restaurant and the staff were excellent!"
