"The View was a wonderful find. Our room was spacious and clean with facilities that you would expect in a top notch hotel. It was great to sit on the private patio and look out across the countryside. Staff were very polite and friendly. Food was good with a varied choice of breakfast items. "

"It was lovely. It was quiet and away from people, v close to local amenities and sites. The WiFi is spotty but that is no criticism, it was great to know i could just read a book without constantly checking my screen. Will definitely come again."

"I rarely take the opportunity to record my stays but this deserves the time. The communication in advance was clear and very helpful. However, the location after a business day is ideal and so many personal touches, including a welcome label on the door personal to you! "Another restful stay at this lovely hotel. It’s always spotlessly clean and well maintained. The rooms are modern and well appointed. The bar /restaurant is excellent. We normally stay weekdays and it’s pretty quiet but it’s a near perfect wedding/party venue so I would imagine it’s pretty busy and maybe not so restful at the weekends. It’s situated near but not in the Peak District in lovely surroundings. Hopefully we’ll be back again sometime."

"The staff were all friendly and helpful, the room was clean and fresh. It was a great choice for us with a 6yr old in tow. Good value for money with a little choice for food next door on a budget. The parking was great and included, all you had to do was register your car at reception when checking in."

"The apartment was fantastic, easy to find and a stones throw from Nottingham city centre (5 mins walk) and more specifically the Rock City music venue. The room was large, comfortable and Appt 1 which we were given feels very private having its own access at the back of the building. We also really appreciated the friendly staff at reception who could not have been more helpful and got us safely into the car park and gave clear instructions for a smooth checkout process.
