"Unfortunately when I arrived the booking system was down so I couldn’t be checked in however The staff were very kind and helpful No complaints there at all. Unfortunately the room itself was probably one of the worst room I’ve stayed in. Mould in multiple areas, loose tiles with trapped water underneath and mouldy grout. A lot of the room also wasn’t clean and the bins hadn’t been emptied. The place needs a lot of work doing "

"Worst stay I have ever had and I’m not Picky. Slept on top of bed covers. Used a hoody over the pillow which smelt stale. The bedding looked tidy till I got in and smelt like someone else needed a wash. I should have left when I entered the room and it smelt like a Smokers room. Really disappointed with it. Slept really badly. "

"There was a strange smell in reception when I arrived. Staff were friendly enough, but despite checking in online they wanted ID to prove my age (which I didn’t have as i hadn’t realised/read I needed any). The room was recently refurbished and therefore in good condition - basic but really good value for money! Only issue was that it was noisy - I was room 1 which is next to reception and I could hear everything the staff were saying, as well as noise from the corridor."

"Met all our needs for a nights stay. Clean and comfortable but small rooms and a bit old fashioned. Plus you cannot see out the windows as they are all covered in a translucent film. Need updating. Good value at the price charged."

"Fundamentally this should be a nice apartment, despite the tiny twin room. Living area and kitchen were nice and the main bedroom and the bathroom were both spacious. The main problem was that the toilet flush broke the first time it was used: the button that needed to be pressed got stuck and wouldn’t come back out. So the cistern wouldn’t refill and the toilet couldn’t be flushed. I dialled the contact number and it went to answer phone. I dialled the emergency contact mobile number and that had been diverted back to the landline. I emailed but didn’t get a response until the following day. So our entire 14 hour stay was without a working toilet. Additionally, the apartment stank of cigarette smoke, triggering my asthma. Disappointing. "
