"I don't often leave reviews, but we really enjoyed our time here. This was our last of 4 stops on our 9 day vacation across Guanacaste. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The beach is a 5 minute walk down the street and a convenient store is a 5 minute drive. "We had a great night stay here as a family - the rooms are really incredible, staff can't do enough for you and were so great with our young kids. The only reason I didn't give a 5 is because I felt the pictures on Expedia of all the greenery and trees surrounding the rooms isn't what it looked like in real life - maybe that's on me for the season we booked a stay (?) but we weren't up among the trees like I expected from the pics, more a stay on a hilltop. "The air conditioner and refrigerator worked great. The room was clean and the staff was great. The beds were the only thing I could complain about they were a bit hard and the springs could be felt, a mattress pad would help a lot. "

"This was our second year coming to the Rip Jack villas and it was an excellent stay. Hotel staff was very kind and courteous. Rooms were clean and kept clean daily. The food in the hotel was delicious; we’re still debating who among us had the best meals. This year we traveled with a larger group and everyone had a great time. "Our family had a terrific time at this lovely property. The beautiful gardens were full of iguana and butterfly sightings and it’s just a 3 min walk to the beach. The included breakfast was quality and the rooms were simple but clean. Our kids loved the pool and we adults found paradise sipping the pina coladas delivered poolside. The private exited parking was also a plus as were the super friendly and helpful staff. Great find! "

"The room was clean although there were ants crawling around. We were led to beleive the restaurant was open as the promotional info claimed they served cajun style food. When we arrived, it turnes out the restaurant hasnt even been built yet and there was also alot of construction going on daily."
