"Extensive black mold in the bathroom on the walls and ceiling. I kept the bathroom door shut the entire time to not breathe the spores. I had to go buy toilet paper, soaps and wash cloths upon arrival as there either were none or was not enough. Loud screaming neighbors every evening in the neighboring apartment. The heat worked very well & the remainder of the apartment was very clean and confortable. The bed was very comfortable also. "

"Bad property and worse experience The initial contact was to hold passport and take photo of yourself on their app that would not work. A real waste of time. We were hoping to get in a bit early before 3:00 pm however were told they were doing maintenance and we could drop our bags off at Italianway location 15 minute walk from Central station. "We returned to Urban Hive for a second time in January 2026 (previously 2023). UH has mantained its high standards in terms of cleanliness and service. The rooms have some quirky decorations which makes UH a fun experience. The breakfast is outstanding with a great selection, excellent coffee and service. UH is well located within easy walking distance of the main central Milan attractions. UH is also right next to the the Moscova metro station so getting further afield is easy. I would recommend and return (again) to Urban Hive."
