"perfect location walking distance to carnival cruise ship. walk across the parking lot to Katie's sea food, then 2 blocks from the Strand. 100% will book this place again when going to Galveston. downfall was lower than normal breakfast, but still worth it for the location. "

We were very disappointed in the dining and lack of quality options for a hotel this size . You could tell there was a staffing shortage with the long wait to get our bill . The food option was minimal and the quality of what was ordered was to be desired . The rooms although spacious was outdated. Our rooms had mold on the shower curtains, cracks in the bathroom walls...

"Beautiful view of the ocean. Huge floor-to-ceiling windows. Staff was very helpful and kind. Room was beautifully designed, however there were a few problems. The bathroom sink was clogged and drained very slowly. The bathtub wasn’t clean. We were only there for one night, so didn’t use the pool. We could see it from our window and the kids and parents were having a great time."

We did feel safe but the place was a little run down. We left our car there for a week when we went on a cruise and it was just fine when we got back. The only real problem was someones car alarm going off all night long. Could hardly get any sleep. But that is not the hotles fault. "
