"All the staff were very friendly and everywhere was clean and tidy. If you were later than 09.00 am for breakfast, the choice was not so good than if you had turned up earlier, that was our feeling. The Saturday evening meal was not totally satisfactory because there was not enough staff and we booked a table at 20.30 but did not eat until 21.45. The server did his best but was over powered with the demands of trying to keep up with the orders. Maybe the kitchen staff were understaffed as...

"Lovely breakfast in a pleasant environment with a friendly chef and waitresses. My room was very clean and airy. The only downside it was above the bar so I could hear the music. The hotel has a lovely aroma as you enter and the ambience enhanced with a beautiful floral display. Sunday lunch at the Blok dining room was delicious. I have enjoyed staying here twice and would not hesitate to return or recommend"

"The hotel has a welcoming traditional vibe as you enter through mature gardens to a courtyard with a fountain. Our room was a very good size with a comfortable bed, dressing room and a proper full sized bath. There is a choice of modern or traditional. Breakfast was nice, a good cooked breakfast and fresh fruit was a plus, although some cold items had not been replenished and there was no choice of yoghurt. "The room was clean and exctreemly comfortable. Staff were polight and very helpful. Spar was clean and again friendly staff. Lot of lovley shops nearby. Highly recomended I will stay there again."
