"this has been rated and advertised as a four-star hotel but it is not. It is hardly a two star there is nobody at the lobby. After hours There is a cleaner/ receptionist Nepali guy who hardly speaks any English caveat emptor.
No tissue paper in toilet , the room is smelly and outdated , did not feel safe

Special thanks to reception staff for excellent check in and ensuring quiet room as requested. Perfect sleep and great breakfast and also enjoyed spa and pool. Just wish they didn’t blare pop music in garden at breakfast time. Lotus pond is special area and gentle traditional Indian music would be more in keeping in morning, Bring earplugs to breakfast if you don’t want loud pop music at 8am! That aside I highly recommend this hotel over both the Leela Palace and ITC Chola. "
