"This was our first stay here and I loved the location. Easy to walk to restaurants and the beach. Dukes is a great option for dinner. We love walking on the beach early in the morning. Banyon Harbor Resort is a short drive from the airport and located near grocery stores. The resort is centrally located so day drives can be easily done to many locations. We had a very nice stay. "

"The room was clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The towel ordering works well. There is no house keeping which is perfectly fine, the place was clean when we arrived. Having a kitchen helped a lot with trip expenses. This is a convenient location, short walk to the bay, food, and coffee. The pool and hot tub seemed clean and well maintained. Not a luxury resort, but worked perfectly fine for our family."

"Located in the center of Hilo 5-15 minutes away from everything, 45 minutes from Kilauea lookout. The building is older and the lower floors are private businesses but you basically only go to the elevator and the coffee shop. The unit was nice, recently renovated everything kitchen to bathroom. The downfall was the A/C in one of the rooms just broke down and a part needed to be ordered but other than that unit was clean, nice, and enjoyable.
