"We can’t say enough about how wonderful our time at The Beach Bungalows was. As a young couple traveling to Costa Rica from the US who wanted access to the beach and night life, this was the perfect spot for us. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the poolside day bed space under the Bungalows was one of our favorites! There was a safe in the room and the Bungalows locked and offered perfect security. The location was walkable to the beach and restaurants, but was set back enough...

"We had an ocean view room We walked out of our door to a lounger by the ocean!!! Magnificent view plus lots of shade. Be sure and accept the coconut water upon arrival. It comes in a coconut with the hotel name on it! Love the added touches. I felt very pampered at this hotel! Hopefully we will make it back to Costa Rica! Definitely put the Coast on your go to list!"

"This hostel was incredible! VERY very social, easy to meet people and great kitchen. We had the hostel room with 2 bunk beds only - super clean. Washrooms were classic hostel washrooms, and the pool was super clean! The BEST location - 5 min walk from the beach and strip in Tamarindo. "

"Omg Tama lodge was exquisite! It was exactly what I needed. A small hostel with only a few rooms was perfect. It was a very family type place. The communal kitchen and common area was great to meet others staying in the lodges Cristian is a gem! Such a great host. I really enjoyed traveling to Tama as a single 38 yro female. Tamarindo beach was literally 15minute walk. There’s no tvs or blow drier there so keep that in mind. Rooms were cozy shower was great. I really loved the energy of this...

"This was my second time staying here. The ocean front rooms are way nicer and more modern than the other rooms. The owner is the same as the Diria next door, where you’ll be having your breakfast. Listen, for the price, just stay at the Diria, you’ll be spending maybe 80 bucks more and it’s got all the amenities you’ll need like pools, bars, restaurants, etc. The Perla is nice and low key, but too expensive for just offering oceanfront and free breakfast. "
