"Very quaint and laid back ambience. Normally travellers like us (retired professionals) might not connect with this sort of hostel, but we loved it. Just the kind of place we used to stay in 50 years ago, lots of young (and a few not so young) guests hanging out, doing cooking reading and very impressively clearing up afterwards. "Our first visit to Tenerife and this hotel was marvellous. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was nice, we paid for the larger patio with pool on the patio - this was cold which was a little disappointing. Though there is a tap to add water, most of the time it only offered cold/cool water. The pool may have heated more on other patios that received more sun but ours was in shade except for a 1-2 hrs/day. Close to the beach and many restaurants, shops, nightlife and there is a long boardwalk...
