"I was in town for an Alaskan cruise with my uncle. I had booked (and paid extra for) the bigger room with the sofa bed. I received instructions for after hours check-in, which had me assigned to room #1. When I showed up at 11:45pm and attempted to enter my room, it was locked. "The host was very pleasant and quite thorough in explaining on the nuances of the property. Other guests were quiet although I was only there the one night while visiting family. The room and other amenities were clean. There are pretty gardens throughout the property as well. Note that there is only the bottom sheet and comforter on the bed and no top sheet, in addition although there are california shutters on the lower part of the window, but the 5 am sun lights the room up in the morning...

"We made a last minute booking and were so happy with our choice. Great location, walking distance to explore Mount Pleasant or walk or take the Skytrain to downtown Vancouver. Excellent cooked to order breakfast. Room was clean and quiet, with a great shower. No a/c, but there was a good fan. Will definitely stay again."

"This is a difficult review to write as the host could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The accommodations were clean but run down and spartan at best. We booked this property as it was near to the airport and we had an early flight the following morning - this was really the only redeeming thing about the property and it’s location. Had the nightly rate been $100 or so I would be writing a completely different review but $460 for barely passable is immoral. Again, the host was...
