"My husband and I and another couple spent two nights at this property as we drove through Tuscany. The owners Andrea and Massimo were incredibly gracious and made us feel very welcome. They (and their staff member Ada) did a great job communicating helpful information prior to and subsequent to our arrival. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. "A wonderful overnight stay at this historical and traditional building, close to the heart of Siena. Very quiet, with a wonderful view over the Tuscan countryside from our room...coffee-making facilities and a fridge with cold water (essential in this current heatwave)...a good choice of breakfast options, all served by Valentina, who was the perfect host. She took time to chat with us about the traditions of Siena, and could not have been more helpful...we hope to return one day soon."

"We loved our 3 night stay in June 2025 coming from Canada. The hotel setting is beautiful. Staff were super friendly and the made to order eggs in the morning were magnificent. They allowed a later checkout to accommodate our schedule. Would highly recommend this hotel. "

"Wonderful stay in a wonderful place. The views from the terrace (where breakfast is served weather permitting) and the executive rooms on to the cathedral are spectacular. All the staff is super friendly and keen to help. The hotel or relais is beautifully decorated and everything is spotlessly clean. That is also true for the rooms which all have antique furniture.
