"I can't complain the staff i encountered we all friendly event security. I didn't have them clean my room during my stay. But i did ask for fresh towels and got immediately. Rooms clean views lovely easy to get taxis if not driving. If you up for it walking distance from most hot spots and food."

"It’s a stunning, unique hotel. One great way to keep the wrong people from visiting? Tell them that there are no televisions in the rooms! From my perspective, that’s a big plus! And it signals that this hotel, combines luxury, history, and is aimed at the type of traveler who did not come to watch TV.."

"I would not recommend anyone to stay at the Emerald Beach Resort. They did let us check in an hour early which was the only good part about the stay. We arrived on 5/27 and the 1st night my daughter was bit by something and her upper lip was swollen. We were told by jalonna we had to check out and wait for the room to be inspected before we could get another room. Essentially we lost 4 hours of time in our room at the resort. The 2nd room didn’t have running water. So we were given a 3rd room...

"I stayed here with one of my best friends, and my mother and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I liked the security of the fact that they have a main gate that they lock after hours so random people aren’t coming in. The only downside to this hotel and why I only ranked it. Four stars out of five is that the rooms were very small and the water pressure isn’t the greatest but we didn’t mind because we just slept there and the rest of the time we were sightseeing! I do wanna make a note...

"This is a great property on a steep hill. Owner Lyndsay was VERY helpful and provided an introduction to the property even volunteering to help me with luggage. The site is walking distance from the downtown area."

"The Island View was charming, the views were fantastic, and the staff were friendly and attentive! We had an earlier morning and they were very kind to make us a breakfast to go. Food was great! If I had to come up with any complaint it would be that the pool (shaded for a good portion of the day) was a bit chilly, but my husband didn’t mind that."

"Everything here was excellent, including the staff, the facilities, the room, the view from the room, the food in the restaurants, the pool, the available water toys (kayak, hobbies, ) and the very attention to details that convey that sense of luxury (ie the shampoo, the towel, the soap, the amazing bedding, etc). They are trying to keep the sargassum away with a barrier and partially succeeding at keeping it under control. The beach is relatively small and facing east."
