"It is right on the beach with lots of oceanview rooms. It's on the rainforest side so beautiful mountains and nice breezes. In the offseason the food options on the property are limited, but adequate. It's right near an amazing RTJ designed golf course which is beautiful. It is dark at night on that side of the island, and I was not comfortable enough to drive at night, but there is plenty of daylight to explore, then unwind at the resort in the evening. "The views from the property are amazing, which I think is the calling card. Honestly, for the price point I was overall satisfied. It was clean and no fuss. Would've been nice if they had someone to help with luggage up and down the stairs. It's a boutique, so no real amenities other than the pool. "I enjoyed my stay at this place, very peaceful, BEAUTIFUL VIEW!!! But when they say the lights go out!!! They mean it, the whole resort went black and stayed black for about 1hr, it was pretty hard to get a taxi because it’s soooo far away from everything, so this would definitely be a spot if you just want to stay in, if you are afraid of cats!!!
