"The hotel was nice but the room and amenities were quite dated. The hotel is on Banff Ave and is about a 15 minute walk to downtown. They do provide the guests with bus passes so they don't have to pay for parking downtown. We loved the fact that it was more on the residential side so street parking was easy to find and it was quiet at night. We had a treat one night when a bunch of deer showed up at our steps and started eating the grass right outside our room."

Everwild Canmore Hotel

8/10 Good

"Not bad. Walls are thin. Staff is a bit snooty. The Nordic spa is very nice. The location is far enough from downtown Canmore to be away from it all yet close enough to walk, bike, or drive. We don't recommend staying there when a large group has taken over the restaurant. Really, you can hear the whooping and hollaring throughout every floor of the hotel. We did get some compensation for this after complaining twice."

Otter Hotel

8/10 Good

"The rooms were modern and clean. The complimentary coffee service was nice. The fridge was nice to have, but there was no microwave, which is usually a standard feature. The mattresses were also too stiff for my liking. However, the restaurant on site was very nice and the food was delicious. The location was very good and made it easy to get to points of interest."
