"I am requesting a review of my stay at Wilderness at the Smokies due to multiple issues that significantly impacted our experience.
During our stay, we observed water bugs on the property, and I have video evidence documenting this. The room also lacked proper ventilation, making it uncomfortable throughout our stay. Additionally, the room did not have standard beds; instead, the beds folded down from the wall. We spoke with four other guests, and all indicated that their rooms had regular beds, which was disappointing and not what we expected.
The kitchen was also in poor condition, as three of the four stove burners did not work properly. These issues combined created an experience that fell well below reasonable expectations.
The situation became so frustrating that we chose to leave the property early. When checking out, I raised these concerns and requested compensation, but I was told there was nothing the property could do.
Given the number and severity of the issues we encountered, I am requesting that Expedia review this matter and provide appropriate compensation for a stay that did not meet acceptable standards. I can provide photos and video evidence to support my complaint if needed.
