We love The Kinney - rooms are clean and spacious, great facilities to suit families or couples, friendly team who always greet you with a smile, and awesome location if you want more of a ‘local’ feeling neighborhood. Check out the shops along Abbot Kinney Blvd, great local shopping, coffee and generally a cool vibe. Can’t wait to come back!!"

"I love this hotel. Probably the only shortfall is the breakfast offered is limited but the area has a lot to offer so it’s not a big deal. Also, try to find parking besides the valet as that is very expensive. "

"Unsatisfactory stay in many ways. Hot water was inconsistent. Shower would turn from hot to ice cold multiple times during one shower. Frustrating promise but non-delivery from staff. We spoke with staff at valet and reception 4 times to ensure we were charged correctly for parking. On check out, the charge was still incorrect. Selective application of policy. I watched staff offer a group of middle aged Caucasian women complimentary wine at check in. We checked in immediately after them, and were not offered the same. We are a young family and people of colour. "

"Very rude staff member at reception upon our arrival. We tried to use the water dispenser in the reception and before we figured out it was broke the lady at reception shouted ‘there is no water’. I then asked her if we could drink the tap water in the room to which she responded with ‘if you like’, followed by a sarcastic smirk. She was also very blunt when handling our check in. Apart from that room was nice and did the job and the location was decent."

"Room was as described. Walls need some touch up on some spots. Space was beautiful and clean. Free parking was amazing. Location spot on, with coffee, Whole Foods, and restaurants within walking distance. Very quiet at night. "

"Parking was first in first served, around 9pm one spot left on hi season and weekend saturday. During day plenty of space to come and go. Simple room, we had the familyroom next to main road so a bit nousy but since me & family are good sleepers that wasnt issue for us. Nice neighborhood walk to beach in 15-20mins. Nice staff, hotels gives what it promises in starts."
