"I had a short stay and I loved the location, the pool, the marina view and the room balcony. The front desk staff was very friendly and attentive. Minor suggestion: the carpet by the elevator or room hall was stained. I am sure it can be taken care of. Looking forward to staying at your pace soon!"

"Overall, we really enjoyed The Kinney. The location is convenient and easy to navigate, and we walked to the Venice Beach boardwalk, which is always a treat. The pool is small, but my teenagers enjoyed swimming, and the hot tub was a lovely place to unwind. The outdoor lounge, with comfortable seating and a fireplace, was perfect for relaxing after a busy day and enjoying the LA weather. The main downside was that our room had no working air conditioning for the first two nights. Getting help was frustrating, especially because one front desk employee was quite rude. When I requested extra pillows, she initially suggested that we share the four already on the bed among all four guests before eventually agreeing to provide more. It was a simple request, and the resistance felt unnecessary. One practical note: we were required to put down a $50 deposit for each night of our stay, so budget for that additional amount at check-in. I had not seen it clearly disclosed beforehand. The deposit is refundable, less any charges made to your room. The location and amenities made this an enjoyable stay, but more attentive and welcoming service would have made a real difference."

"Perfect location to the beach and the famous Venice boardwalk. We arrived much earlier than our check time and were very pleasantly greeted by a lovely lady and were told our room was ready which kicked-off a brilliant weekend. The room was super spacious and had a very comfy bed and huge oceanfront balcony that we spent a lot of time on. Dinner on the rooftop was spectacular as was the food. Complimentary breakfast was included and we really enjoyed the patio and the offerings were perfect. The hotel offers complimentary bikes, beach towels, sunscreen, basketballs, paddle tennis, volleyballs and more. We loved our time here and will certainly be back."

Of course AC would’ve been nice (we were there during a heatwave) but it was manageable with two fans and lots of water to store in the fridge. Would stay again."
