"This property functions like a guest house with a welcoming gal: cozy bedroom-like room; reminiscent of a big English home. And the windows actually open! Unlike traditional hotels where an open window is unheard of! Convenient stroll to the English Channel and beach. It was a sweet spot."

Even though they state it, a hotel with no elevator, no air conditioning in the common areas and with windows that would let in any noise from the street ( thankfully I did not stay on a weekend) cannot be consider as such. The wet room style of bathroom meant that shower water often pooled by the loo, (whose seat was a bit loose). I stayed for two nights and despite the notice that my room would be serviced from 10 am, when I got back to my room at 12.30 on my second day it had not been touched.
