"This property is the ideal loction when visiting San Francisco. Walking distance to tours and Fishermans Wharf. Clean, welcoming hotel with parking (for a fee) onsite. The breakfast that is included is fit for a king. Staff is very friendly and helpful."

"We stayed here two nights as a family of four. We went to a Giants game and the walking distance was not bad. The bar is a nice place to have a drink. Breakfast buffet was too spendy for us, so we skipped that. We have stayed at a lot of hotels in the city and this was one of the better experiences."

"Great location! Walking distance to everything from Chinatown to North Beach to the Ferry Building. Staff was nice and friendly. They were stripping the floors in the main entrance, which caused some traffic coming and going and loud noise. Seemed like odd timing knowing they had increased traffic with the World Cup, to choose then to do the floors and block off the exit doors. Due to high traffic, the elevators always seemed to be a wait. Only 1 set (of 4) elevators for the entire building, which easily could have used more sets given the size of the hotel. Overall, great place to stay. Highly recommend."

"Breakfast was across the street in one of two other Hotels. A daily allowance of $10 per room was permissible for breakfast, this was news to us. Room cleaned regularly, coffee machine in room flooded the machine so couldn't use it. Bar nice and lively with a good selection of food and drink. Lots of TV screen to watch sport on which worked for us. Nice clean and comfy beds, pool clean and towels provided. Looks like they are trying to clean up the surrounding area as there is clearly a homeless and drug issue although there was never any begging or threatening behaviour. Watch out for dog mess on the streets too mind."
