"Lovely hotel in a good location. Rooftop bar was fun. Rooms were small but expected. Breakfast was expensive. Staff was great, as they usually are in a R&C property."

"I can’t recommend this hotel enough. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The area was quiet and safe - there are government buildings nearby so there are armed guards on the street at all hours (but not in a scary way). I would 100% feel safe staying here as a solo traveler. The room had just enough space and a lovely rain shower. Free breakfast help us save a good bit of money each day. "Melia Castilla was an excellent hotel, friendly staff, spacious and quiet rooms, very comfortable and convenient for my week's stay in Madrid for business north of the hotel and some sightseeing to south"

"Todo el personal nos atendio con mucha amabilidad, especialmente Lucia en el “check in”. El cuarto muy cómodo y limpio. El desayuno es excelente. Nos encantó la estadía en este hotel. "
"It was perfect, I would stay again in a heartbeat. Beautiful, quiet, and great location.
I wish I had gotten his name, but one of the people working overnight in the lobby had noticed it was my birthday and had a box of chocolates left for me at checkout. I’m sure they normally give those out but it was a nice gesture that he recognized me and stopped to say happy birthday."
