"Nice stay and great spa"

"The room was clean but did see cobwebs behind the main door to the room, slightly dated decor for an executive room, standard of tiling in the bathroom wasn’t great for example, with no spar toilets paper rolls to be found, the ceiling fan was needed as the weather was warm but it could benefit from an AC unit, on a whole the hotel looked and felt nice and welcoming with happy and pleasant staff. We used the pool in the spa, which was ok, they do have a gym and other treatments but we didn’t use them so can’t comment, we also eat out for dinner and breakfast, so we didn’t get to sample the hotels menu or breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to others, it’s a nice quiet for us at time of visit, country farm style location spa retreat, with a modern ish to look at build complex, value for money."

"The hotel was very dated and our room was small. We were in an attic room and the stairs up to it were steep and not very wide.There was far too much furniture in the room for the size of it. The bed was a very small double bed but it was clean. There was nowhere near the dressing table to plug in my hairdryer or straightners. The meals at night were ok but the breakfast was really good. All of the staff were helpful and very pleasant. We enjoyed the beer garden but it could have been better kept."
