"I booked the Royal Toby as a solo traveller. I was made so welcome by the reception staff. I was immediately put at ease. Nothing was too much trouble. My room was spacious and airy. Consisting of a double bed and a big single bed. Facilities were excellent with tea making facilities. And all amenities you would expect. The room was veryclean. Corridors and communal areas were also of a high standard. I had arranged to go out so did not use bar facilities or restaurant. But if the smell was anything to go by it smelled wonderful. My room was quiet despite there being a storm outside. Check out was efficient. The breakfast was of a high standard and excellent quality and service. Over all i would highly recommend the Royal Toby,and am sure i will visit again."

"Upon arrival the staff member told me that there wasn't any booking even when i showed him my phone with both confirmations from Expedia & the Hotel itself. We didn't get the room we booked. Shambles!!!!"

"Standard Premier Inn quality - nothing fancy but comfortable, staff friendly and helpful, and full English or continental breakfast available at a reasonable price. Great for a one or two-night stay"

"We had to ask to move rooms, as there was a noisy fan (or similar) running outside the window. Room change was effected quickly and without any fuss"
