"Pleasant stay at the hotel. Very clean & comfortable room. Staff were very friendly & welcoming. It’s our first time to NZ, & glad chose this hotel. Convenient location, free parking daily, bed was comfortable, they provided complimentary tea/coffee/chocolate packets, & best part was the they cleaned the room well everyday. Will definitely visit the hotel again. "

"The room, staff and parking was exceptional. The lunch time meal deal was brilliant but the menu at night doesn’t compare with dining options in the CBD which is only a short walk away. Location was magnificent close to Woolworths and petrol. Definitely returning."

"Our rooms were very nice, modern and clean. We had booked a room with 3 bedrooms. It’s was spacious, each bedroom had its own bathroom and one bedroom was in its own mini suite with separate entrance. The beds were comfortable and the location is right downtown within easy walk to everything including restaurants, shopping, Sky Tower, University etc. "

"What a delightful find - so close to the heart of the CBD/marina but tucked away in a peaceful oasis. Staff were really helpful and friendly and my breakfast was so good - not a buffet but a lovely selection off an individual menu. We didn’t use the gym or the swimming pool but did walk around the communal garden - delightful! This hotel has the right amount of quirky vs comfort and the secure parking a great asset. "

"What a shame everything was excellent until we returned to the hotel at 10:30pm in a taxi and couldn’t get a response from the intercom to get into the drop off area and to enter the hotel. I had to phone the hotel and get them to pick up and raise the gate. This part was not 5 star. Only blemish on what was a very good overnight stay. "

"This hotel was perfect for my work trip to Akl. It had blinds that blocked all light, a super comfy bed, great shower, and was really quiet - these are my must haves for work travel. In addition the location was great, staff were wonderful and the room was excellent. Will definitely stay here again. "
